The Hellenic American University soccer team played in the Second Division of the UITOA Championship League once again this year and succeeded in attaining 3rd place out of 20 teams in total.  This particular Championship Tournament actually lasts longer than professional championship tournaments in Greece.

During the next season, the Hellenic American University Soccer Team will play in the League’s First Division. This season the team began determined to get to the top, after a grueling 10 day pre-season training session that took place during August, in the soccer fields of Vari. It took ten months and 38 games (September 2009 – June 2010), for the 22 members of the team, to achieve what for most is unattainable in the most competitive division of the league; the rise to the First Division. 

We were given nothing, each match was considered a battle that had to be won, in order to draw attention to the quality of the Hellenic American University, even in sporting organizations and we succeeded.
